Roanoke Valley Super Adoption

The Roanoke Valley Super Adoption is a non-profit event designed to showcase the many wonderful organizations in the Roanoke Valley area dedicated to finding good homes for homeless cats and dogs. The Super Adoption Group consists entirely of volunteers from the Greater Roanoke area. Our goals are to find good homes for as many homeless pets as possible during the Super Adoption, raise awareness of the organizations dedicated to helping homeless pets in our area, and to promote spay/neuter as a means to curb the pet overpopulation.

Most of the organizations in our area dedicated to finding homes for unwanted cats and dogs are currently at or near capacity. It is our hope that the Super Adoption will lead to the adoption of many of these animals into good homes, allowing these organizations to accept additional cats and dogs in need.

Organizations participating in this event include area humane societies, shelters, and rescue groups, as well as groups providing information on their low-cost spay/neuter services.
